069 - Lunar Report - Current U.S. Plans for Lunar Exploration, Extraction, and Exploitation
Our discussion will focus on the history of lunar exploration and both old and new plans for getting back to the moon (and staying there, if possible). We will focus on the technicalities of lunar living/working/surviving, as well as the broader political and moral issues involved in such a huge endeavor. Time allowing, we’ll tie the current lunar focus to the recent strong effort to go to Mars directly rather than go to the Moon first.

Rick served in the USAF as a missiles and space operator (16 years). He was a physics instructor at Central High School (19 years). He is now a JPL Solar System Ambassador.
